Isiri Hughes is an artist living and working on unceded Gadigal land. Born in the United States and now based in Sydney, her practice examines the feminine body through experiences of chronic pain. Through printmaking and painting, she explores themes of vulnerability, embodiment, desire, and the tensions between physical suffering and intimacy.
